Hi, I’m Lisa Maree O’Neill. My energy and vitality are ruled by the sun. Because of this, it has always been important for me to create an outdoor sanctuary where I bask and socialise and also find peace and tranquility. A city girl at heart, originally from Melbourne, Australia, and now Auckland, New Zealand, my urban sanctuaries have taken the form of courtyards, deck gardens and tropical inspired spaces incorporating outdoor planters.

In 2018 I took a sabbatical from a 30 year career in health and wellness and operating two businesses, which afforded me the time to expand my urban sanctuary from my outdoor garden into my home. This began a renewed passion for indoor plants and my ability to care for some of the higher maintenance plants that adorn my living spaces. My friends were enthralled by my plant projects and many became inspired to become plant parents themselves. With that, my time was often spent taking friends plant shopping, styling their indoor gardens and caring for their plants. It turns out, that for some, loving plants and caring for their needs are not mutually exclusive.

My Plant PA is my attempt to help plant novices and lovers of interior plant decor to bring more plants into your home, intimate outdoor space or home office, and to enjoy the difference living with plants makes to your energy, creativity and wellbeing.
